What you are looking at
The light gray blend mixes white, silver and warm gray granules, and it looks bright in full sun.
The overhead drone view shows a simple gable roof with box vents in a row near the ridge and a few plumbing vents. The ridge close-ups show the vents and a brick chimney coming through the roof.
The house has light siding in a wide lap, white trim and a front stoop with a railing and lattice skirt. The drone also shows the detached garage at the back of the lot.
The photos were taken on a clear fall day, with long shadows across the lawn and mature trees lining the street.
The gable end photo shows the light siding and a gutter running along the eave, with the new roof edge above it. In the overhead drone view, a rolloff container with the old shingles still sits in the driveway.
Pacific Wave is one of Owens Corning's Designer Colors, and the multi-tone blend sits on the same Duration shingle, SureNail strip and 130 mph wind rating included. Nails that hold through a Waite Park summer storm are the same nails that keep wind-driven snow from lifting an edge in January.
