What you are looking at
From the yard the color mix reads as a soft gray. Up close you can pick out green and burgundy pieces among the charcoal and light gray, which gives the roof the look of a weathered natural shingle.
The brick chimney got new flashing. The close-up shows black metal at its base and a black metal band around the brick above it.
The garage is a white-sided building with barn red trim and two white overhead doors on a blacktop apron.
The roof photos look over neighboring homes, mature trees and an alley lined with garages. Debris was hauled away when the job wrapped up.
The roof photos were taken from the peak looking out in different directions, so they show the full sweep of each plane and the shingle courses running straight to the eaves.
Lots are tight here, so the photos also catch fences, neighboring garages and big trees close to the roof edges.
Mountain Pine is one of Owens Corning's Designer Colors, and the multi-tone blend sits on the same Duration shingle, SureNail strip and 130 mph wind rating included. On a St. Cloud roof, a shingle that stays nailed flat in summer wind is also one that keeps drifting snow and meltwater from getting under the edges.
