What you are looking at
The shingle blend is unusual: terracotta, sage, slate and light gray granules mixed together, which reads as a warm, weathered color from the street. Brown box vents and brown valley metal match the warmer tones in the blend.
The siding is sage green lap with white window trim, and the new gutters run the eaves above the side entry and along the back of the house.
The back yard has a cedar pergola over a patio, a fire pit ring and big white hydrangeas, and the roof photos look out over tall spruce and a residential street.
The side entry photo shows a short concrete walk, a handrail and potted flowers under the new roof edge.
The roof is a hip design, and the hip photo shows the ridge caps running down to the eave with box vents set just below the peak. The close-up shows one of those vents seated on its flange with the shingle courses above it lapped over the top.
Under the Aged Copper color, Duration is built around Owens Corning's SureNail strip, a woven fabric band in the nailing zone that gives each nail more to hold, and Owens Corning rates it for winds up to 130 mph and UL 2218 Class 3 impact. In St. Cloud, holding tight in wind is the first defense against the snowmelt that follows a winter storm.
