What you are looking at
Green is a bold roof color, and it works here because the house already wears dark green trim at the fascia and around the windows. The shingles are a green blend with darker shadow tones.
The roof steps down in three sections, from the upper story to a middle roof to a long, low roof on the patio side. The ridge photo shows the peak capped in the same green.
This is an older, tightly built neighborhood with alleys and detached garages, and a brick paver walkway runs along the side of the house under the new roof edge.
Debris was hauled away at the end of the job.
The upper story has a pair of windows in the gable framed in green trim, and the attached wing has a white overhead door and a side entry with a short stair. The roof edge photo above the brick walkway shows the new gutter along the eave.
Under the Chateau Green color, Duration is built around Owens Corning's SureNail strip, a woven fabric band in the nailing zone that gives each nail more to hold, and Owens Corning rates it for winds up to 130 mph and UL 2218 Class 3 impact. For a St. Cloud home, that means fewer lifted shingles after summer wind and fewer gaps for winter melt to work into.
