What you are looking at
The siding is a deep blue steel lap with white window trim. A tall arched window in a tan brick column anchors the front, and the attached garage keeps a brick pier between its two white overhead doors.
The photos work around the house: the tall side wall where one color runs a full two stories, the back patio with its colored concrete, a side entry door painted to match the siding and the front porch ceiling.
The gutters and downspouts are white, and the porch photo shows the soffit, gutter and roof edge meeting above the brick entry. On the back, a patio door and a wide window are trimmed in white against the blue.
March light, bare trees and a dormant lawn make the blue stand out even more.
The roof breaks into several sections: the main two-story roof, a lower roof over the garage wing and a small roof over the front porch. The gray shingles keep the attention on the blue walls.
What sits under the Williamsburg Gray granules is SureNail, a woven reinforcing strip in the nailing zone that helps Duration hold in winds up to 130 mph, and the shingle carries a UL 2218 Class 3 impact rating. Nails that hold through a Sartell summer storm are the same nails that keep wind-driven snow from lifting an edge in January.
